When Sapat Ltd. (one of India’s top 5 tea companies) approached us in 2008 to offer chai to a discerning global audience, we knew we’d have to introduce more than their range of premium Indian teas. We’d have to introduce the chai way of life. A few months (and countless cups of tea) later, Chaitime was born. The packaging we designed was nostalgic yet contemporary, fun and quirky, much like Chaitime’s offerings. Today, they line the shelves of lifestyle stores across India and select international markets: inspiring people the world over with the same comforting fuzzy feeling the subcontinent knows well.
